Message from the Correspondent

It is with great pride and affection that I share a few words as the Correspondent of our school—a role I have been privileged to hold for the past four decades.

Since the founding of the school in 1984, I have had the opportunity to work closely with my husband, a visionary in the field of education, in building and nurturing this institution. From the early years to the present, I have been involved in various aspects of its growth—academic, administrative, and infrastructural. A major turning point came in the late 80’s when we acquired the current campus. It has been a labour of love to help transform it into the vibrant and welcoming space it is today.

One of my most cherished contributions has been to the development of the campus. I have personally planted many of the trees that now offer shade and beauty to students, staff, and visitors. Over the years, I have worked closely with the gardening team to care for and maintain this green environment. Creating a campus filled with trees and natural beauty has always been important to me, as I believe a peaceful and nurturing atmosphere plays a key role in a child’s growth.

Looking back on these four decades, I feel immense gratitude—for the dedicated staff who have been with us on this journey, for the parents who have placed their trust in us, and above all for the generations of students who have brought life and purpose to our school.

As we move forward, I remain committed to supporting the continued growth and evolution of the school, while staying true to the values and vision on which it was founded.

Warm regards,

Lakshmi Iyengar
