Dear Parents, Teachers, and Students,

Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think.” – Albert Einstein

Inspired by Jiddu Krishnamurti’s principles and Shri Aurobindo’s philosophy, and with our motto, “Strive to Excel”, we at Jeevana aim for the holistic development of our students.

When I joined Jeevana as a teacher in 1995, I was surprised by the unique principles and philosophies followed in our school. It was very different from other institutions. I used to wonder—
How is it possible to teach and maintain discipline without beating, threatening, or even scolding students?
How can we motivate gifted students without a ranking system?

But very soon, with the guidance of our Chairman, the visionary Mr. M.S. Iyengar, I realised that we are on the right path, doing the right thing.

The fact that our alumni now hold prestigious positions and still keep in touch—inviting us for their personal milestones—stands as testimony to this.

As Jiddu Krishnamurti said,

“If we are greedy, envious, competitive, our society will be competitive, envious, greedy, which brings misery and war.”

We do not encourage our students to compare or compete with each other. Instead, we motivate them to give their best, living by our motto: Strive to Excel.

This year, I have taken over as the Principal of the school, and I feel honoured and privileged to be a part of this wonderful institution, where everyone is a learner and every day is an opportunity to learn and grow.

With each passing year, we observe that children are becoming smarter and sharper. At Jeevana, we provide an atmosphere where children learn through exploration and experimentation, complemented by a plethora of extracurricular activities, including:

  • Music

  • Sports

  • Cultural programmes

  • Talent Time

  • Exhibitions

  • Scientific experiments

  • Value education

  • Life skills sessions

  • Annual Days

My Message to My Dear Students

Dearest children,

We are truly blessed to have such intelligent, affectionate, adorable, disciplined, and smart students like you.

In the words of OSHO:

“Nobody else has ever been like you and nobody else will ever be like you; you are simply unique, incomparable. Accept this, love this, celebrate this—and in that very celebration you will start seeing the uniqueness of the others, the incomparable beauty of the others.”

Believe in yourself, be yourself, and set the trend. Do not follow others.

A favourite quote I’d love to share with you:

“Your talent is God’s gift to you, what you do with it is your gift back to God.”Leo Buscaglia

Realize your strengths, find your purpose, and grow up to be good human beings.

My Message to My Dear Colleagues

We are a wonderful team of dedicated teachers who truly love children and are passionate about our work.

At Jeevana, we are given the freedom to innovate—be it new teaching methods or behaviour management strategies. With learners becoming smarter, we too must stay a step ahead.

Let us continue to work for the future generation, help them find their talents, channelise their potential, and give their best to society.

My Message to Dear Parents

Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students, and enthusiastic parents.

We thank you for entrusting us with the responsibility of shaping your child’s future. We request you to:

  • Spend quality time with your children
